Food and Beverage Consultant
Procurement & Facilities
To provide specialized consulting and guidance on food and beverage management, improving service quality, and enhancing the efficiency of procurement, storage, and distribution processes within the company
Responsibilities:
Evaluation and Analysis of Needs:
- Analyze the company's food and beverage needs based on staff numbers and specific requirements.
- Review and analyze employee feedback to identify strengths and weaknesses in current services.
Supplier Planning and Management:
- Identify and evaluate reputable food and beverage suppliers.
- Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers offering quality products at reasonable prices.
- Develop efficient policies and procedures for supplier management.
Improvement of Food and Beverage Quality:
- Propose and develop various menus to match the tastes and nutritional needs of employees.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards in the preparation, transportation, and storage of food and beverages.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of received food and beverages.
Inventory Management and Cost Control:
- Track and manage inventory of food and beverages.
- Provide solutions to reduce costs and increase efficiency in the use of materials.
- Develop budgets and manage costs related to the procurement and distribution of food and beverages.
Distribution Process Management:
- Design and implement optimal processes for the regular and timely distribution of food and beverages.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Prepare periodic reports on inventory status, food quality, and supplier performance.
- Offer suggestions and improvement strategies to senior management.
Event and Occasions Support:
- Plan and manage catering services for company events and meetings.
- Coordinate with suppliers to provide suitable food and beverages for special occasions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Hospitality Management, Restaurant Management, Nutrition, or related fields).
- Minimum of five years of work experience in food and beverage management or consulting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Ability to work with software related to food and beverage management (e.g., ERP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Attention to detail.
- Skills in organization and time management.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
