Chief Legal Officer



  • Legal Counsel: Provide legal counsel to senior executives and other departments on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, commercial contracts, employment law, regulatory compliance, and litigation.
  • Legal Strategy: Develop and implement the company's legal strategy in alignment with business objectives and risk appetite.
  • Litigation and Criminal Matters: Participate in criminal matters and lawsuits, managing litigation effectively.
  • Legal Management: Oversee all legal functions of the company, including managing a team of lawyers and legal specialists. Ensure legal issues are identified, analyzed, and resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Business Strategy: Contribute to the development of business strategies and provide legal advice and support to the company's executive leadership team.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and liabilities, formulating strategies to mitigate them.
  • Litigation Oversight: Manage and oversee all litigation matters, including responding to subpoenas and other legal inquiries.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee the company's relationship with regulatory agencies and government officials regarding litigation matters.
  • Policy Implementation: Implement legal policies and procedures governing the company's operations, including data privacy and security, intellectual property, compliance, and ethics.
  • App Compliance: Provide legal guidance on matters related to the app's terms and conditions, including user inquiries and complaints.
  • Contract Management: Review high-value or high-risk contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and alignment with business objectives.
  • Legal Updates: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest legal developments and trends, ensuring the company is prepared to respond to changes in the legal landscape.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Stay informed of the regulatory and legal environments.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and train junior colleagues to improve their legal skills and knowledge, fostering a positive and supportive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.


  • Educational Background: Master’s or higher degree from a top-tier law school and admission to the bar.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with experience in corporate legal work.
  • Legal Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Iran law and regulations, including civil & commercial law, competition law, data privacy, and intellectual property.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills. Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other departments and senior executives.
  • Risk Management: Demonstrated experience in successfully managing legal risk and implementing effective legal strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, business partners, and legal teams.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills with the ability to align legal activities with business objectives.
  • Due Diligence: Assist with legal due diligence of potential investment targets.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
