About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Procurement Specialist to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes across a wide range of categories, including IT infrastructure, software, hardware, office facilities, administrative services, and event-related purchases.

Beyond executing purchases, we are looking for someone who enjoys designing efficient procurement processes, building scalable solutions, and continuously improving the way procurement operates in a fast-growing technology company.

The ideal candidate is process-oriented, highly organized, resilient under pressure, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle from purchase request to vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, purchasing, payment follow-up, and delivery.
  • Source and procure a wide range of products and services including:
    • IT infrastructure and technical equipment
    • Office hardware and operational supplies
    • Administrative and facility-related services
    • Catering, refreshments, fruits, and office consumables
    • Event-related purchases
    • Outsourced services and manpower when required
  • Design, document, and continuously improve procurement processes and policies.
  • Identify opportunities to automate recurring and low-value purchases through framework agreements, preferred vendors, and procurement optimization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while evaluating their performance.
  • Lead commercial negotiations to achieve the best balance of cost, quality, delivery, and service.
  • Coordinate contract preparation and execution in collaboration with the Legal team.
  • Manage tender, quotation, and competitive bidding processes when required.
  • Work closely with Finance, IT, People, Facilities, and other business teams to understand procurement needs and deliver timely solutions.
  • Track procurement activities and ensure transparency, accountability, and proper documentation throughout the process.
  • Monitor supplier performance and proactively resolve procurement-related issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement processes.
  • Experience purchasing both technical (IT) and non-technical goods and services.
  • Hands-on experience with vendor management, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, RFQ/RFP processes, tendering, and contract management.
  • Experience collaborating with Legal and Finance teams during contracting and procurement processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, resilience, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in technology companies or fast-growing startups.
  • Familiarity with procurement automation and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience developing procurement policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Knowledge of ERP or procurement management systems.
  • Strong negotiation and cost optimization capabilities.
  • Comfortable working in environments with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on in daily operations.
