Role Overview

We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer who brings strategic clarity, creative courage, and digital sophistication.

This is not a maintenance role — it’s a build and lead role. You will design Divar’s marketing vision, lead the evolution of our brand, and orchestrate campaigns that set new standards in creativity and impact.

You will work with a small, exceptional internal team and the best creative and strategic partners in the region and beyond, ensuring that Divar remains relevant, admired, and top-of-mind — both with users and within the rapidly evolving AI-driven media landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Strategy

  • Define and evolve Divar’s brand strategy, narrative, and design language.
  • Translate the company’s mission into clear, emotionally resonant communication.
  • Keep Divar top of mind in a fast-changing world, adapting continuously to cultural and technological shifts.

Creative Campaigns

  • Lead the conception and execution of bold, original campaigns that cut through the noise.
  • Collaborate with world-class creative agencies, studios, and partners to deliver memorable work.
  • Maintain coherence, taste, and excellence across every touchpoint.

AI-Era Discoverability

  • Develop strategies to ensure Divar — and its leadership narrative — are discoverable and accurately represented across AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
  • Work with internal teams to optimize all digital assets and content for LLM and generative-AI visibility.
  • Position Divar as a forward-thinking brand that understands and thrives in the AI era.

Partnerships & Sponsorships

  • Identify and lead collaborations with cultural, educational, and technology partners that strengthen Divar’s public presence.
  • Design sponsorships and initiatives that reinforce the brand’s values and purpose.
  • Use partnerships as storytelling platforms — not just logo placements.

Leadership & Culture

  • Lead a small, elite marketing team focused on creativity and executional excellence.
  • Build a modern marketing organization that blends brand, data, and technology fluently.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chairman and leadership team to align marketing with Divar’s long-term vision.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of creative or marketing leadership at top tech companies, creative agencies, or brands.
  • Proven ability to build and scale strong, differentiated brands.
  • Deep understanding of brand storytelling, digital ecosystems, and consumer psychology.
  • Strong grasp of AI-driven marketing, LLM discoverability, and conversational search optimization.
  • Experience working with and managing global-level creative talent.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional creative judgment and taste.
  • Fluent in English; Persian proficiency preferred.
  • International experience or a global career perspective is a significant advantage.
