We are seeking a sharp, proactive professional to lead and execute the administration and continuous optimization of our group’s portfolio of small international companies (primarily in GCC and Europe).
This is a hands-on role for someone who combines a basic understanding of accounting, finance, corporate law, and taxation with a creative, entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the lifecycle of our international entities: incorporation, ongoing corporate secretarial work, directorship arrangements, banking, accounting coordination, and eventual wind-down or restructuring when required.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve efficient intercompany payment, cash-flow, and profit-repayment structures (dividends, interest, royalties, management fees, IP licensing, trading flows, etc.).
- Monitor and ensure economic and administrative matters in each jurisdiction (office, employees, management & control, etc.) to defend structures during tax audits or regulatory inquiries.
- Anticipate and mitigate political, regulatory, currency, and operational risks in each jurisdiction.
- Manage relationships with local corporate service providers, tax advisors, banks, and auditors.
- Explore and propose new jurisdictions, holding structures, or financing vehicles that offer competitive advantages for the group.
- Collaborate closely with the group’s VP of finance, legal team, and external tax counsel on investment and restructuring projects.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on the status of international entities for senior management
- Establish and maintain the group's centralized repository, corporate master trackers, and data infrastructure for all international entities and payments.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in corporate finance.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting and corporate finance.
- Experience managing financial and administrative work across multiple companies in different countries in the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa is an advantage.
- Experience with entity setup and corporate secretarial work, or intercompany payments and cash-flow structures, or banking and auditor coordination, or tax and restructuring work is an advantage.
- Experience with jurisdictions such as the UAE, Oman, Iraq, and the EU.
- Fluent English; additional languages such as Arabic or Spanish are an advantage.
- University degree in accounting, finance, or economics, or an MBA.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with tools for tracking and documenting work.
- Familiarity with accounting software and international online banking systems is an advantage.
- Prior work experience outside Iran is an advantage.
- Experience coordinating with banking, legal, and organizational stakeholders outside Iran is an advantage.
- Eligible to work in Iran.
- Willingness to travel internationally in person when needed to resolve legal, financial, and banking matters is an advantage.
