We are looking for a seasoned executive with expertise in technology, product, or business who has a keen eye for recognizing and nurturing exceptional talent within our organization. This role is instrumental in facilitating the learning and development of leaders, in collaboration with the directors. Directors are responsible for focusing on the growth and development of their team leaders, dedicating time, and identifying and providing the necessary resources. The Learning & Development Manager ensures focused attention on the crucial task of leadership development, fosters collective efforts across various individuals, and offers a unified infrastructure to achieve this goal with high quality.
The Learning & Development Manager will concentrate on a selected group of leaders during each cycle, with the exact number to be determined as part of the ongoing process. This role involves closely collaborating with these leaders to thoroughly evaluate and enhance their strengths in technical, product, business, and leadership skills. L&D Manager will promote their growth and development through close collaboration and by providing or recommending necessary resources. These resources may include books, online courses, workshops with companies abroad, in-house projects, or support from external consultants or coaches, both nationally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with directors to identify individuals with exceptional capabilities and growth potential, particularly in business and leadership.
- Develop and implement tailored development programs aimed at enhancing the skills of selected leaders in technical domains, product innovation, business strategy, and leadership.
- Employ a diverse array of training methodologies, including workshops, mentoring, on-the-job learning, and digital learning solutions.
- Establish metrics to evaluate the impact and success of development initiatives.
- Regularly monitor the progress of leaders and adjust programs to maximize effectiveness.
- Collaborate with managers and industry experts to offer advice and guidance to emerging leaders.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
- Provide insights and talent development opportunities to the executive team.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Vice President of Engineering or in a comparable executive role within the tech industry.
- Strong technical background with extensive knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate senior staff.
- Aptitude for balancing strategic thinking with practical execution and results-oriented actions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
